Tammy Macy
Tammy Macy, a 27-year educator who began her career teaching Head Start. She has taught first grade, early literacy and served as an early childhood-elementary curriculum specialist that supported teachers through assessments, curriculum implementation, proficiency scales and professional development. She has served as a Principal/Curriculum Director at a Child Developmental Center for the last three years. She is certified as a mentor for Acadience Assessments, certified in Kagan PD, Professional Learning Communities, LETRS for Early Childhood, and much more. She has a B.A. in Early Childhood, M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction, M.A. in Elementary Reading, M.A. in Elementary Administration, and an Ed.S in k-12 Organizational Leadership. Her passion is early intervention and ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn and succeed. In addition, she is passionate about empowering teachers to support the development of the next generation of students both in school and beyond
