Lynn is an educational language-literacy consultant who works in Colorado and across the country. She has Master Degrees in Speech Language Pathology, Audiology and Communication Disorders and K-12 Learning Disabilities and Emotionally Handicapped. Lynn has 23 years’ experience as a public school educator, learning disabilities teacher, and speech language pathologist at both the classroom and district level. For five years, she was the Professional Development Coordinator for the Colorado Reading First Statewide Implementation. Following her state work, she spent three years providing strategic consultation on a Federal Early Reading First Grant with a Colorado school district. She continues to provide training and coaching in PreK–12 multisensory structured literacy, oral and written language instructional strategies and professional development workshops on issues related to teacher knowledge, language and literacy achievement, data conversations, educational interventions and school change. She is the President of the Rocky Mountain Branch of The International Dyslexia Association and conference chair for the past four years for their fall Reading in the Rockies conference.
