5th grade teacher
Pinedale, WY
I have been teaching for 28 years.  I started in Montgomery County, Maryland teaching fourth and fifth grades.  When I relocated to Pinedale, Wyoming, I taught middle school language arts for 12 years and then transferred to the elementary school to run the Title 1 reading program.  For the past four years, I taught fifth grade.  In addition, I have worked as a professional learning specialist for Amplify, training on CKLA and mClass.  I have also completed numerous literacy trainings, most recently LTRS and Orto-Gillingham.  Prior to teaching, I worked for 12 years in public affairs and public relations in New York City and Washington, DC.  In my free time, I enjoy being all things outdoors and hanging out with my family.
